The residents of Carnuntum

Meet the inhabitants of ancient Carnuntum during the autumn holidays. From October 27 to 31, the Romans will return to the reconstructed houses of the Roman district, sharing stories about their lives, their city, and especially about 'their' houses and their unique histories.

Each day, you can enter the houses where the residents will tell you about their daily lives, as well as the special aspects of life 1,700 years ago. All the inhabitants wear Roman clothing, making this visit particularly interesting for families with children.
