Starting this year, all programs can be ordered conveniently and around the clock in our online store. Simply select the number of groups (max. 25 pupils per group, please note: NOT the number of pupils) and your preferred date. The web form will then automatically guide you through the rest of the process. You should receive an e-mail confirmation no later than 30 minutes after successful completion.

As of this season, you can book all programs in the Roman town of Carnuntum in the form of a group package. A fixed rate (= one ticket) is payable per group (max. 25 pupils plus 2 accompanying persons).
Important: You can pay for up to 30 pupils at the ticket office (10 euros per pupil), groups of more than 30 pupils cannot be accepted for safety reasons, which is why a second group must be booked for groups of 31 pupils or more. -
Once you have selected your preferred date and the right number of groups, you can complete your booking. No immediate payment is required online per se, this is only done on the day of the tour at the cash desk.
-
You have the option of paying directly in the online store. To do this, please select “e-ticket incl. payment” under “Shipping options” and you will be redirected to the corresponding page. Please note that a credit card is required for this.

The Roman town of Carnuntum is easily accessible by public transport or bus. To get to the Roman Quarter, we recommend taking the ÖBB train to Petronell-Carnuntum station, from where it is a 10-15 minute walk directly to the Roman Quarter (Hauptstraße 1A, 2404 Petronell-Carnuntum). All programs except Weltstadt am Donaulimes start here.
-
Our latest program starts at the Carnuntinum Museum (Badgasse 42, 2405 Bad Deutsch-Altenburg). A coach is required for the transfer (around 10 minutes) to the second part in the Roman Quarter (Hauptstraße 1A, 2404 Petronell-Carnuntum), which is why we only recommend this program for groups with a coach.

All programs are designed so that they can take place in (almost) any weather. The programs in the city district in particular can also be arranged so that they mainly take place indoors. Nevertheless, weatherproof clothing is recommended for the routes in between. Please note: You should definitely have these for the walking day.
