The Roman city of Carnuntum invites you to exciting family tours during the Easter vacations! Daily at 10:00, 12:00 and 14:00, you can expect guided tours specially tailored to children aged 4 to 9 - playful, lively and with a pinch of adventure. For older children and inquisitive adults, there are regular guided tours at 11:00, 13:00 and 15:00. Special highlight: At the weekend, the time travel tour replaces the family tour at 12:00 noon - an experience recommended for everyone aged 6 and over!

Throughout the Easter vacations (April 12 to 21, 2025), the thermal baths will be transformed into a place for unforgettable memories. Slip into historical roles and pose as a proud senator, elegant merchant or brave legionary! Our photo point is of course free of charge for visitors to the Roman city and offers the perfect opportunity for a unique family photo in the splendor of Roman antiquity.

UNESCO World Heritage Day in Carnuntum

April 18, 2025, marks UNESCO World Heritage Day. The Roman city of Carnuntum, part of the Austrian Danube Limes and therefore a UNESCO World Heritage Site since 2021, is celebrating in style. All guided tours during the Easter weekend (April 18–21) will place a special focus on the Danube Limes.
